Are you concerned about feeling out of control with a substance, emotion or behavior? This could mean having thoughts you feel like are out of control, which cause you to behave in ways that may be unhealthy. Some examples of this may include substance abuse, unwanted sexually driven behavior (which some call sex addiction), cutting or hurting yourself in other ways (pulling out your hair, scratching, etc) frequent hand-washing, checking locks, or other ritualistic, repetitive behaviors, or collecting items in your home (known as hoarding).
We will customize a program for you that may include individual psychotherapy, couples therapy, group therapy using an eclectic, non-judgmental approach that is based on psychology and not on "12-step."
