Exercise Is More Than Just Good for Your Brain

A recent article by the Associated Press posits that exercise may do more than just keep a healthy brain fit.  Researchers are uncovering data that suggests that staying fit “may also offer some help once memory starts to slide - and even improve life for people with Alzheimer's”.  Exercise burns calories, relieves stress and releases endorphins, which are neuropeptides or feel good chemicals, that’s why we feel so good after a work-out!  As if we needed more of a reason to exercise. Now research scientists are discovering evidence that strongly suggest that exercise helps improve memory, particularly with people living with Alzheimer’s.
