You Are Not Alone

Recently, the NY Times published an article about campus suicide & the pressure of perfection and its impact on students.  The struggle for popularity and perfection has been problematic across university campuses.  In a recent survey of college counseling centers, researchers found that “more than half their clients have severe psychological problems, an increase of 13 percent in just two years.”  According to the Center for Collegiate Mental Health at Penn State, the most common mental health diagnoses among college students are anxiety and depression.
